Home / Тransformer substations / Construction of transformer substations
We offer design and construction services for transformer substations (TP), complete transformer substations (CTP), and modular complete transformer substations (MCTP).
Construction of transformer substations plays a key role in ensuring reliable and stable power supply for various facilities and entire regions.
One of the main functions of these facilities is to convert the high voltage received from power plants into lower voltage suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial use. Thus, transformer substations serve as a critical link in the electricity distribution network, ensuring safe and efficient energy transmission.

FLUX carries out the construction of transformer substations (CTP, CTPN, MCTP) for industrial enterprises, residential complexes, and infrastructure facilities. We provide a full range of services — from design and equipment supply to commissioning and subsequent maintenance.
FLUX constructs transformer substations across Kazakhstan — in Atyrau, Almaty, Astana, Aktau, and other regions. Our solutions are applied in industry, energy, residential complex construction, as well as commercial and logistics centers. We guarantee quality and compliance with PUE, SNiP, and the standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Design and preparation of technical documentation
At this stage, our engineers conduct research and develop the project in compliance with all necessary standards and regulatory requirements. Selecting the location for the substation is a critical factor, taking into account proximity to loads, accessibility for maintenance, and minimal environmental impact. Additionally, geological and climatic conditions of the area where the substation will be located must be considered.
This is one of the most critical stages, as the quality and reliability of the equipment directly affect the operation of the entire substation. Transformers, rectifiers, disconnectors, relay protection devices, and other components must meet strict technical requirements and standards. At the same time, the construction site is prepared: obstacles are removed, vegetation is cleared, the surface is leveled, and the foundation is laid.
At this stage, earthworks are carried out, foundations are laid, and metal and concrete structures are erected. Once the main construction work is completed, equipment installation and connection begin. It is essential to conduct thorough testing and inspection of all components to ensure compliance with design parameters and safety requirements. Specialists test transformers, check protection and automation systems, and configure all electrical connections.
After all construction and commissioning work is completed, the facility is handed over to the operating organization. Final testing of all systems under real load conditions is performed, all parameters are checked, and operational permits are issued. Commissioning of the substation is accompanied by the preparation of acceptance certificates and the transfer of technical documentation. The substation begins operation, providing reliable and uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
