Home / Cable transmission lines / Cable installation in underground trenches
Cable and cable line installation in underground trenches by a qualified team of electricians.
Cable installation in trenches is one of the most common methods of installing cable lines, used in both urban and rural areas. This method provides reliable protection of cables against mechanical damage and environmental impacts. When all stages of the work are carried out correctly, trench installation can ensure long-lasting and safe cable operation.

Route preparation
Includes project development, route approval for the trench path, and obtaining the necessary permits. After that, the work team marks the future trench, outlining its boundaries with special markers.
Specialized equipment such as excavators and trenchers digs the trench according to the project specifications. It is important to follow the required depth and width standards to ensure sufficient cable protection from external factors and compliance with safety regulations. A layer of sand is poured at the bottom of the prepared trench, serving as a cushioning layer that prevents cable damage from sharp stones and uneven soil.
The cable is carefully laid on a layer of sand, with attention to maintaining proper bending radii and standard distances between adjacent cables, if multiple lines are installed. In some cases, additional cable protection is required — for example, using plastic conduits or a special marking tape placed above the cable. Once the cable is laid, it is covered with a layer of sand and compacted to prevent shifting. The final stage involves backfilling the trench with soil and restoring the surface, whether it is an asphalt road or a lawn.
